April 5, 200818 yr Here are the infamous "black holes." The object in the pictures is a quarter, just for a size reference. Not big enough for a golf hole and its too deep too.But I have seen holes like that in my yard in the pass.Don't know what they are besides holes.

"You get a line and I'll get a pole and we'll go fishin' in a crawdad hole":lol: All I really know is they make great fish bait and the folks down south love to eat them, of course they are a little different species from what we see here in Ky. I have eaten them but didn't like them. (I don't like eating anything I have used for bait:eek:) They do migrate especially after heavy rain. That is why I thought the holes in Birdsfan yard may be the work of crawdads. This time of the year is when they lay their eggs. Crawdads also shed their skin.(molting) similar to what snakes do. They outgrow their shell so they shed to get a new one. Not much info but I hope it helps.
