April 4, 200818 yr I'm hoping one of you nature experts will be able to solve this mystery. This morning, we found a whole bunch of weird little holes in our front yard. They're about as big around as a quarter, perfectly round, and about five inches deep. There's nothing in them. Thought maybe it was evil squirrels; but the holes are too cylindrical to be from them. Any idea what might have caused this?
April 4, 200818 yr Author Skunks. They dig these little holes looking for grubs!Wouldn't that look more like a dugout hole? This looks like somebody stuck a pipe in the dirt and pulled it back out. It's that vertical. We do smell skunks out there every now and then; but have yet to actually see one...thank God.

I get up in the middle of the night and go to random BGP moderator's house's, take a piece of PVC pipe and make little holes around the sidewalk. Sorry I have been getting some help, I hope it works.:eek:
