My biggest thing is that there are so many question marks.

 

Starting backcourt is gone.

Meeks and Patterson coming off injuries.

Will Stevenson gain strength on the interior?

Will Liggins be at UK next season?

Only scorer from this year's team, returning, is Patterson.

No doubt in my mind UK will be better next year than this year, however what people fail to realize is that most of UK's competition (SEC) will improve as well...

Another good point which is why I have a hard time seeing them making great strides (in regards to total wins) next season.

The out of conference record should be markedly better, but as some have stated the SEC will be tougher and 12-4 doesn't seem likely. I could more likely see UK winning a game or two in the SEC as opposed to none this year and maybe one game in the tournament. I dont think UK will be as low of a seed next year, so they could potentially do better in the post season to give them some wins. If everyone important is healthy I can see 20 wins for this team.

I have no doubt in my mind that we will do something special with our season next year in honor of Mr. Wildcat. I truly believe we will win the SEC.

Come on man......what makes you think that? I mean, maybe they could, but there are SO many unanswered questions to think that they will rise up and make the Top 8 teams in the nation.

I think that it will be right at 20, I will vote over. A lot will depend on how Patterson and Meeks will come back from their sugery. Hopefully they will be back strong.

Could be wrong on this but I'm going to say that UK wins at least 25 games and is in the top 5 at seasons end.

I do believe UK will be over 20 wins. How much over is the question. Especially considering the roster isn't complete yet and its yet to be seen how big of an impact Liggins, Miller, and Galloway will be. I will predict another season of low scoring. I think next year's team will have the potential to be a great defensive team, but will have to because there will be some issues with scoring.
