April 3, 200818 yr I'm not a Kobe fan but you can't deny him... He didnt even want to play with these guys. How is that for denial? I cant imagine giving someone that has acted like him an MVP award. Not to mention, it has been a little more of a team effort out of them. If you take Kobe off that team, they still have a chance to make the playoffs. If you take LeBron or CP3 off their teams, there is no way either team makes the playoffs.

This bunch has looked very good at times with Kobe not in the lineup. They have some weapons out there and you can bet someone would have stepped up. Kobe definitely helps, but this team would be in the running for a playoff spot without him. Kobe didn't see it at the first of the year, and I wouldnt expect you to see it either.

April 3, 200818 yr Chris Paul is my vote, and it's not even close, IMO. He's got the New Orleans Hornets on top of the western conference. Unbelievable.
April 3, 200818 yr I think it' a toss up between Bryant and Paul. Bryant has taken a a mediocre bunch and escalated all of their games. If you don't think for one second Bynum's rise came this year because of Kobe, you're kidding yourself. Paul on the other hand reminds me of the performance Wade had the year the Heat won the championship. Has a good big man in Tyson Chandler and does all of the little things to help his team win. Key baskets, assists, and rebounds. The Cavs would be nowhere without LBJ but with his team 4th in the East that will really hurt his chances. The lackluster start at the beginning of the season really hurt the Cavs. Garnett has a very good supporting cast IMO and that is why he won't win the award. He no doubt is deserving of it, but he won't get as much recognition considering he has two future Hall of Famers playing along side of him in Pierce and Allen. One things for sure though, if the Celtics don't win the NBA Championship this year I think it would be a pretty big upset. The west will beat up on eachother and the Celtics should make the finals in 10 or 11 games. (4 or 5 in first round, 6 in conference finals)

April 3, 200818 yr I voted for Chris Paul. He does so much for his team. He handed out 60 assists over four games last week. He leads the league in steals. Of course I know all this because he is on my fantasy team but nevertheless where would NO be without him?
