March 30, 200818 yr Huh? Freel has never shown himself to be more than a utility player when he is in the starting lineup on a regular basis, when he is able to stay healthy. Patterson has had a good Spring training. Freel can't bat for average either. It will be nice to have a guy who will try to put the bat on the ball leading off for a change.
