March 29, 200818 yr Author I heard today that the Reds are still likely to deal Ryan Freel. They are trying. At his salary, it's not going to be easy...
March 29, 200818 yr Well, seeing that pitching was the Achilles heel last year, it looks like they have at least tried to get better. I am not familiar with Mike Lincoln. What are his strengths and weaknesses?
March 29, 200818 yr Belisle is on DL from "overpracticing his changeup?" That sounds rather odd to me.

March 30, 200818 yr I heard today that the Reds are still likely to deal Ryan Freel. Thats so sad. He should be starting center over Patterson. But, thats just Dusty bringing in his "boys".
March 30, 200818 yr Thats so sad. He should be starting center over Patterson. But, thats just Dusty bringing in his "boys". Huh? Freel has never shown himself to be more than a utility player when he is in the starting lineup on a regular basis, when he is able to stay healthy. Patterson has had a good Spring training.

Patterson has had a good Spring training. And Freel has also had an equally good spring training so I don't know where you're getting at with that...
