WOW!

Like I have said before...I've only seen him play once, and was not impressed. That said, I do hope he lives up to the hype. Most of these players who are selected for these Teams, are being selected from past AAU hype, and rankings.

He is getting a lot of recognition for a supposedly lazy player that is never impressive. Somebody thinks pretty highly of him, apparently.

:thumb:He sure has "fooled" some influential basketball people. For those that don't want him at UK, I say oh my gosh, please be careful what you wish for.

I think this kid is definitely worth the risk. With his athleticism, driving ability and a good jumper, he could turn into an all-star in college with the right help.

He will be in college 1 year and out to the NBA.

That's what I think. Unless he doesn't do that great his first year, but that's definitely what he wants.

I will say congrats to this young man and hope he does well. But didn't impress me in the ONE... game is saw him. Again I've only seen him once and don't want to make a too harsh of a jedgement on him.

Only if I were as lazy, maybe I too would be able to ink a multiple million dollar contract in a few years!

I don't understand, what some naysayers see. Hopsons often doesn't have many plays ran to his side and thus, he isn't as active, like some of his teammates.

He does get involved in the offense and rightfully so, as he's an immense threat to score. Hopson would make any team better and will be a solid college player, wherever he chooses to go.

Surround him with similar talent and he will surprise many. I'm a fan, ever since I met him in the 9th grade.

:thumb::thumb::thumb:That is exactly what I've been trying to get across!

It's easy for you guys to sit here and say all this now but before this year it was all true what people were saying about him. He has changed his way a bit I would say.

Then you need to go back and read my comments on Hopson. Just because a group says something, doesn't make it accurate. There are many outstanding College programs pursuing him, so that tells me they know something or see something, that all the doubters don't.

Fans often look to criticize players, just what they do. Very little does praise get heaped to Hopson, without a substantial amount of negative comments.

I've talked with him several times and this young man, is not only a very good player but a genuine person.

He is as sorry of a high school player Ive seen. Theres no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Hes just lazy. But you put him in an allstar or an AAU game with very little defense being played his natural ability shines through. He was as athletic and almost as talented as anyone on the floor tonight. It doesn't change the fact that he has a major issue with his game that needs fixing....And its definitly a fixable problem if he so chooses.
