Lots of "coaching problems" at GC recently. But I foresee a lot of people applying for the Greenup Co job. Fraley will have company if he applies.

Lastly, why do kids keep leaving the school based on ... well, nevermind. I have only noticed that the only headlines RH has received lately is sports and not about a Christian education (I know athletics is one of the 3 statements!). Wait I stand corrected, I have read many numerous articles, in the past, about their fine theatre arts program/performaning arts for the community, but thats about it. :thumb:

I understand your question. As a Rose Hill supporter, I was there before O. J. and will be there long after Dakota, I have asked the same thing. I could tell you that everybody puts their kids into RH for the Christian education, but we both know that is not true. Everybody looks for situations where their child can thrive. Rose Hill has fulfilled all my expectations as a parent. And I know several others who will tell you the same thing.

Before you condemn the Christian experience at Rose Hill maybe you should consider that it may be part of the problem in keeping students who are there for other reasons. I would put the code of conduct at Rose Hill against any other school, not only in the region but the state. I don’t think someone who is driven by some other desire could exist in that environment for long.

Before anybody starts point out the conduct of any student at Rose Hill, let me worn you that only God knows their heart. I will also say that I know the kids at Rose Hill, both past and present. I have seen their compassion and love. The school is doing the right things. Tim Fraley and Pam and Clay Euton contributed to the development of great kids. I could care less about basketball, I will miss them personally.

I was wondering, was Tim the longest tenured coach at Rose Hill? Who were the others?

To my knowledge Tim was the longest tenured and winningest coach in Rose Hill history.

I was just thinking.. I know about Jeff Hall, Tim Fraley, Mike Polley, Ed Jenkins, but who were the other coaches at Rose Hill though the years?

I am not a Rose Hill historian, but I seem to remember a Craig or Greg Page being there in mid to late 90's, Ron Reed was there for a while, a Polley (sp) was there in the early 2000's, Jeff Hall and then Fraley came along in (I think) the 2003-04 season. I may be VERY wrong about all of this, but I am pretty sure about at least some of the guys listed.

Joe Dillow also was a coach at Rose Hill

From my memory:

Greg Page: 1996-1998

Ron Reed: 1998-1999

Ed Jenkins: 1999-2000

Mike Polley: 2000-2001

Jeff Hall: 2001-2003

Tim Fraley: 2003-2008

????????: 2008-

Did any of these teach at Rose Hill? How do these other private schools keep coaches and have them teach in their school?

Page through Polley had to teach a certain amount of classes at Rose Hill. They were there prior to the rule change.

He already teaches there and was an assistant there under Ward.

Plus he is an alumnist, live close to the school, and it would be a pay raise. Seems logical to me.

Someone was telling me the other day that UK Player Jared Prickett was living in the Ashland area. Is he a possible candidate?
