I don't think anyone on here really knows who the next coach is going to be. From what I have been told from a couple of people close to the RH program (and yes I have friends at RH) Barnes (Ty and/or Chris), VanHoose (I understand is back in the picture) and Bush.

 

Those, I have been told, have either shown interest in the job or RH has interest in them.

 

Again, I don't pretend to know who it will be, but would be shocked if not one of the above mentioned.

When some of the RH insiders listed next year's roster, they left Barber off. I don't personally know if he is leaving the school or not, but find it interesting. I really like the Barber kid! He was a very under rated player on RH team and contributed a lot, especially those things that don't show up in the box score (hustle, court vision, basketball intelligence, etc.)

If you knew OJ's handlers and how up front they were about how things would be done around OJ then you know there is no way Rose Hill didn't know what they were in for.

Yeah, right. Like the "handlers" were always up front with their plans for Mayo, Walker and the rest of the show.

 

Rose Hill got caught up in it like everyone else, and then had the rug pulled out from under them.

I also felt he was the 3rd best player on the team and has the most upside of those for next year.

I believe you could say that about a couple of players. Toward the end of the season their was a couple of players that stepped up and played extremely well.

I understand that former coach Ed Jenkins' mother passed away recently. A friend told me that when he talked with him that Coach Jenkins mentioned he was interested in the Rose Hill job.

Would RH be interested in Ed?

He did a very nice job while at Raceland. While at Rose Hill he did not have the same type of players they are getting now. Coach Jenkins is a quality person.

As for Corey Gregg, he may be needed in PC but will not be returning there mainly educational reasons not basketball.
