I heard this last week but with all the controversy about players leaving I didn't know how much truth there was to this. I was told that an AAU coach would be a possibility for replacement.

 

Someone also mentioned another RH player may be leaving for personal reasons . . . anyone heard anything about this?

 

Sounds like there will be LOTS of changes at RH.

I have not heard of any, at least on the boys team. I have heard a player or 2 from the girl's team might be leaving with the departure of Coach Pam Euton.

 

None of the girls are leaving! So let's nip that in the bud. The Lady Royals will be very competetive next year. Why would any of the boys leave? The boys will be better next year as well. I would take playing five against five any day over two against five. As for coaches for the boys team the possibilities are endless...Charlie Baker is going to retire from the East Carter school system and is speculated to step into a gold mine at Rose Hill

These kids could play for any team in the region, the first 4 could start for any team in the 16th Region.

 

With Baker coaching them the will be in the top 3 teams next year.

You may be right, there was an 8th grader who transferred in. I thought his mother came to this area with her job. There were also a couple of other students who transferred in, but I don't think Euton or Jackson had anything to do with it. None of the players had substantial playing time.

There may be other players, who have attended RH since grade school to transfer out.

Trust me when I tell you this that no one in the region will be able to guard Mike Davis, Mike Terry and Nate Quackenbush next year. If they do not produce it will not be becuase of defense. Fraley has missed a major opportunity this past season by not developing these kids.

Who will Bath be loosing this year? They were a VERY COMPETATIVE team this year and if they aren't loosing starters will definately be a contender next year above RH. I don't see RH finishing or ranking above 5th or 6th next year. But who knows how might transfer in or out between now and then!:thumb:

We will see, you cant coach what Clemons had, no matter who the kid is unless it is Chad Jackson.

Just for the record none of these kids transfered from a public school after the 6th grade. You can add Barber and Whetsel to that list also.
