I like Giwa...the kid can play...

 

Giwa is definetly a player. He just needs to slow down a bit. He gets in a hurry too much but when he slows down and lets the game come to him the kid is one of the best around.

 

Sad thing is his older brother "Wally" only got to play 2 seasons in high school and he was even better than Shina.

If beechwood wants to make a run their clutch point guard Trey Beuttel will be a big reason.

 

I believe Brian Romes is the X factor, his play determines how far the tigers go, no offense to Trey.:dancingpa

Ill have to disagree a little with that one. Trey Beuttel had a pretty good season but the play of Brian Romes and Nathan Snyder will determine the tigers next season.:laugh:

Nathan Snyder is a great shot blocker and rebounder down low, he is very athletic

I like McDaniels from Newport. He'll only be a junior but I believe he'll have a great year and should rank in the top 10 for the 09/10 season. I also like Housley from Newport. He got great ball control and a good shooter. There's also a kid from Newport, I believe his name is Luther. Not sure if that is his first or last name but IMO this kid is good. He's always on the rim. He's got a good shot and descent ball control too.

Newport will be very good, led by Sr Housley and I'm not sure their sr center's name. Their 2010 class is loaded also, but McDaniels, in the games I saw, took a lot of plays off. Luther is an excellent leaper and rebounder and I believe their SG last year name was Green is a good ball player as well. Wouldn't be surprised to see them in the regionals.

Eastin from Dayton should be included.

I think after tonight Pittman and R. Johnson may have solitified themselves as the top two players returning next year with JJ slightly behind.

Maile 3rd and J. Johnson 4th or 5th.

 

Anyone who saw those kids last night had to come away impressed. I think last night was the best I've seen JJ and Pittman play all year. You don't need to score a lot of points to be considered one of the best. It's how you fill your role.

He could average around 30 by his sr year. I wouldn't be surprised to see him break the Dayton alltime scoring record.
