i have also heard that alex "downtown" downton will be putting back on a uniform to join the tigers for his senior season...if he gets his mind into the game, watch out! He may lead the tigers to the district championship next year..

 

Beechwood will be good next year but I think wnning the district may be a bit of a stretch. They would have to beat both Holmes and Covcath. Not a small task.

 

Do you not realize what Holmes returns next year? Beechwood was totally dominated by them both times this year and they will be just as good next year with Pittman and the Johnson brothers along with Riley.

 

Covcath returns Shover and my POY candidate in Luke Maile. Beechwood may give Covcath a game but I don't see them beating them. Maile will be tough to stop next year and they have a nice group of underclassmen coming up.

I think that Alex Hall and Brian Romes truely ran the offense, Beuttel got the weakest defender.

Beechwood might have a good shot, but CCH will still beat them by 10+ IMO.

 

I agree with them being favored against HC though. I think this upcoming season could be the first time HC gets a 4 seed in a very long time.

Beuttel didn't get the third best defender all the time. It wasn't too hard to guard Hall. I'm not saying he was a bad player, but he was predictable. Beuttel does much more as far as versatility on the offensive end. He also played the point so the ball ended up in his hands a majority of the time... Again, he makes it go for Beechwood...
