Cant have Coach Arnold for 2 more yrs at least. LOL

My list of Favorites.

From first to Last.

1. Jason Butler - Solid Royal who knows what is expected and a solid guy.

2. Kent Moore - Would he want it? May want out of that big shadow in Maysville.

3. Jay Fite - Royal by transplant, but still a Royal

4a. Patrick Kelsch - Only if he brings Robin along!;)

4b. Jessie Holt - Young and in tune with the game.

I know this would be a little out there right now, but what about Janson Hinson at St Pat?

I know he is set up pretty good now, but would it be a good move going from a small school boys coach were the pool is shallow or move to a Power like Mason and really put your name out there.

I think the program needs to be lead by a new coach with a new system. Lets bring some new life to these girls. I like the idea of a female coach and based on the ones listed I would have to go with Orem. :ylsuper:

I will go with Patrick Kelsch. He is a class act and I think he would make a good replacement for coach Buser.

I think Christy Orem moving back into the 10th Region would be a good choice.

I talked to a good friend of mine and he knows a little bit about girl's basketball around the area and he said Orem was in the mix. I think she wants it. And I would be surprised if a few players follow...

Mason County will have 3 juniors, only 1 of which that received a lot of clock this season(Menke, a starter), Smith a 8th grader returns as a starter for her freshmen year and 3 sophomores(2 of which didn't dress until post season play this year as freshmen) and a crop of incoming freshmen. There will be zero seniors on next years team from this years ball club.

You can't determine what some of these girls can do just based on this year. They are young and a lot depends on how hard they work in the off season.

Your absolutely correct in what you say but the question was asked what do the Lady Royals have coming back. I simply stated what it is, and that is 2 starters, role players that played limited minutes this season and then 8th graders this season that will be freshmen next season. I was not evaluating any of the girls, just basically stating what it is, a huge rebuilding season ahead. Basically if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it must be a duck. No disrespect to any of the players, just limited experience heading back. Lets face it, we all know that about 52 points between 3 players is graduating. Every program goes through it at some point.

I think Coach Holt at Lewis Co. would be a great fit. She is a Mason Alum and she has done a great job at Lewis Co.

I thought Jessica was a Lewis Co. grad??????

I think that they should give it to someone in the school system, like Jason Butler. He's been with the program long enough and knows enough about the program to make it successful in the future.

If Jason was on the staff at the school he would be the best hire, as long as there was a female in the assistant spot or at least on the coaching staff. Whoever comes in better have a lot of patience. As far as Jason Hinson, Hes going anywhere. Hes got a good program growing where he is at.

I totally disagree and its time for the girls to go down a different road. They need to hire in a new coach and go from there and I am almost certain thats the plan.
