How tall is Stephens exactly? I've been hearing 6'6", 6'7", and 6'8" and I think some people are starting to exaggerate a little bit. Whats his exact size?

6'8

I don't much about Montgomery except for a few players, but Scott has to take care of the basketball and limit their turnovers to around 9-11. If their big men can hit some middle range shots, then this will pull Stephens away from the basket and free up Adkins, Hiller and Murray to penetrate. Scott would be better in a 1-2-2 zone which would force Montgomery to beat them from the outside. Keeping Stephens off the boards is critical for a Scott victory.

Montgomery Co. 65-52.

How does everyone think the time off will effect the teams? More time to prepare - help or hurt?

I think it hurts teams more than it helps them. Too much time off, and they could lose their focus, and the feel of playing in a game. Practice can help, but it's nothing like playing in a game of this atmosphere. Too much time off hurts, IMO.

Knowing Coach Carr, I will bet that his players are glad it is game day. Most of Coach Carr's practices are more intense than most games that are played:D

I don't see Scott letting down at all this game. If they can prevent Montgomery from getting out to a lead early and have them play Scott's tempo look for this game to be a good one!! Coach Carr and his team seem to be coming together at the right time, so look for the Eagles to give Montgomery all the can handle and if it comes to the last second shot......... than you know who my money is on.

Good luck Eagles!!

Griesser has his team ready. It won't be a walk in the park, Scott is hungry.

MC wins this one.

Montgonery Co should win by 10.

Agreed! Teams that are on a smoking hot roll can really cool down fast with such a long break. I expect the level of play to be a bit sluggish by both teams in the beginning of the game.

MC by 15+

Scott will need to have 4 if not all 5 players going for the rebounds to stay in this one. Looking at the overall size of MC and hearing that they are at the top in the state in rebounding I agree with Tiger One make them bea Scott outside w/ the Zone and keep them off the boards w/ it also. Does MC you the press much in there game plan?
