Seems like someone who loves playing cards might have it out for Coach Kelsch!!!

^ Pat Summit is interested in the BC job  :D

I just hope they do not drag it out into the summer and wait to name a girls head coach. Patrick is the man for the job.

Also have it first hand from the AD ( Jenny Ray ) that getting this done as quickly as possiable is of high priority. I spoke with her at length about the Nicholas County fiasco, ( coincidently a job coach K applied and interviewed for ), and how much it hurt their program and how much it put them behind. After our conversation, I beleive Mrs. Ray's intention is to have the position filled well before the school year ends.

If it was so cut and dry that he was to have the position wouldn't he have received this the first time or the other position that he applied for. nothing is cut and dry and you have to look at all of your options. To give PK credit for wins at the end of the year then he should take the credit for the losses as well. If he this great savior of coach that some on here are making him out to be then he would have found a way to get it done.

I NEVER said Coach Kelsch was a savior!!! I SIMPLY said that he needed to be hired at BC. For his loyalty to the school and program if nothing else!

I think many in the area wish he had gotten the job when the school decided to hire Coach Schultz!

If you know anything about coaching positions and applications then you know not getting a job is a big part of the process. All kinds of applicants for one spot, someone has to be turned away!

As far as I know Coach Kelsch was in the final 2 at Nicholas County!

Hiring Coach Kelsch is the right as well as the smart thing to do. It will come back and haunt them if they don't!!!

Exactly, and not getting the job means that they didn't feel that you were good enough for the position.

It is quite obvious that a lot of people wanted him to have it, sounds like it was a no win situation for Coach Schultz.

It also sounds like if PK is not successful then a lot of people will be dissapointed as they feel he is going to come in and get the job done, since it is so necessary and important that Bracken hire him.

GIVE THE JOB TO KELSCH AND BE DONE WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They will don't worry It was said and done before this season was even over. They will go threw the whole interview process and posting of the position but Kelsch will get the Job.

To qoute Lee Corso,"not so fast my friend"

Unfortunately, I will believe Coach Kelsch gets the job when he gets the job.

They showed him no loyalty when they passed him over the first time.

They showed Coach Schultz no loyalty by letting her go.

They have shown Coach Kelsch no loyalty a 2nd time by not already hiring him or at the minimum let him serve as acting coach and prepare for summer camps.

I agree that the whole nature of how Bracken County and the administration handled the hiring of Molly and now how they are handling this situation is really mystifying to say the least!

Not always getting hired in a position DOES NOT mean you were not good enough to be hired. Perhaps, someone was a little better or had ties to the community or was an alumni that wanted to return! There are many things that go into the hiring of coaches, many things!

I am not sure if there was a lack of loyalty shown to Coach Schultz or not however. I hear she rubbed some people (administrators) the wrong way, just hearsay, but I have heard it from several people!

ALL IN: You seem to know something no one else does about the position, which I find a bit funny to be honest!

Since you do however, why don't you ENLIGHTEN us w/your wisdom?

Patrick Kelsch has shown loyalty to this program and IMO he is good enough to take over this program.

Never realized that so many Pendleton County and Augusta people cared about who is coaching the Bracken County Lady Bears all of a sudden, truly amazing.

I will be just glad when they officially name the coach. Conversation will be pretty intense at this point after the coach is named based upon the readings thus far in this thread.

With that being said, does anyone know who has turned in applications besides Coach Kelsch?
