As with any successful program it is not the head coach that does everything all by themself, a great staff is a necessity. She did however get all of these things initiated and organized.

Still my point remains she has done nothing but good things and absolutlely no reason not to be back. You cannot point out anything that would warrant a nonrewal. She has instilled the work ethic into these girls and that caried over into the end of the season. It is a talented young group that will continue to improve the next two years. Would be a shame if she couldn't enjoy the work that she has started and see these girls through their four years.

I never knew Millie Reule was head coach at Bracken?

Millie Reule I believe was coach of the first girl's basketball team at Bracken either in 1975 or 1976 and they actually came close to going to the state I believe one year.

Who cares if she is the first or the 100th she is getting the job done. Sounds like someone has a problem with a womam being successful and having a little power.

I would probable disagree with some of these statements about Coach Schultz! Great player in HAS and college, done a decent job as a HC, but she has help along the way w/all she has been doing w/these girls that is for sure.Yes, Coach Kelsch interviewed for the Bracken job, but that was never going to any other coach once Coach Schultz applied for the job, it was open and shut at that point. She was getting the job and would become the first female HC at Bracken Co.

 

He was a finalist for the NCHS job as far as I knew.

 

This is no slight towards Molly Schultz, I just think Patrick Kelsch would do a better job being the HC at Bracken Co. I hope Molly nothing but the very best!

 

What kind of help are you refering to here just wondering, if maybe you could tell us has someone else been running her Practices, or setting up the game plan, just curious. I know Coach Kelsch steped in the end of this season due to personal and family illness but that is all i know of . What other help help has she got you make it sound like somone else was doing her job and her taking credit for her. Just curious.

This is of no offense to any "newbies" out there, but I'd like some verification on this before I believe someone with three posts. True or not?

If this is true, the AD should open the job search, think there would be a lot of quality people outside of Bracken interested.

Coach Schultz did a fine job of teaching the girls, and as for respect check out her classroom on any given day after school her room usually full of her team. If they didn't respect her why would they want to be around her everyday. Maybe there is an underlining reason you have a hardship twards her????????????????

Wow, if this is indeed true why would they need to look outside the county for a good and proven coach. Patrick Kelsch lives in Bracken County and like alot of other coaches wouldn't be using this job as a stepping stone to something better. If this job is indeed open I don't think they will over look PK again.
