May 8, 200818 yr I know, that's not worth it at all.. $24 at Town @ Country in Wilder for students, something like 32 for the older folk. Thats where I go. :thumb:
May 8, 200818 yr Thats where I go. :thumb: How much does it run you? Oh and say one of us sent you and it waives the activation fee.
May 8, 200818 yr Check into it though, the place is awesome. I was talking to one of the sales guys about a month ago and that was before the month the month started. So maybe it changed. I am heading up there tomorrow.
May 8, 200818 yr How much does it run you? Oh and say one of us sent you and it waives the activation fee. I don't really know my mom pays for a family thing. I think it's 100 for like 6 of us. They have a pretty good deal if you are a student.
May 12, 200818 yr Actually they've just changed all NEW memberships to month to month and I think it's about 65 a month. I got it for 39.99 a month with first and last months rent due at the start plus a 19.99 enrollment fee. I am very happy.
May 12, 200818 yr I was going to check this place out, but would only be using it for the summer for like three months so I think I'm gonna pass. Plus I talked to a buddy yesterday and he said that one in florence ws really nice but that their weight lifting stuff wasn't that great. I'm thinking I'll just do fitworks summer student special.

Do you live in NKY? There is a place by Walmart, Ideal Fitness for 20 a month no contract. My friend goes there, it sounds like a slightly smaller Fitworks but he likes it.

Yes I do, and I've heard of it, but also know alot more people at fitworks, atleast I did last summer. So it's easier to get a spotter. I usually lift at NKU and can always get a spotter with no problem. However this summer the gym at NKU closes at 8 and I'm supposed to work until 7:30 so unfortunately I've gotta join elsewhere for the summer.
May 12, 200818 yr Fitworks is 99.99 for the summer. I have done that the past two summers. I worked out at Ideal over Christmas break and it got the job done.
May 12, 200818 yr Fitworks is 99.99 for the summer. I have done that the past two summers. I worked out at Ideal over Christmas break and it got the job done. Is that for June, July and August? Or is that per month? Also, what if any are the sign up fees for the $99.99 deal?
May 13, 200818 yr Is that for June, July and August? Or is that per month? Also, what if any are the sign up fees for the $99.99 deal? They've always done that 100 dollar student summer thing. Not a bad deal but personally I wouldn't see the kinda results I desired in only 3 months. But it will give you something to do and help you tone up.
May 13, 200818 yr Is that for June, July and August? Or is that per month? Also, what if any are the sign up fees for the $99.99 deal? It's $99.00 for three months, but you get a 4'th month free. There aren't any sign up fees or anything, this is actually a really good deal I think. I went and signed up yesterday. Usually I just go to NKU's gym since it's free, but over the summer they close at 8 and I get off work at 7:30. Fitworks is actually pretty nice, and I've heard it's not overly crowded with ideal fitness and Urban Active moved in. Went tonight at 9 and there were maybe 8-10 people there total.

But it will give you something to do and help you tone up. Right, but it is also for the people who are regulars at the gyms at their schools and are home for summer. I did the FitWorks thing the past two summers and it worked out well.
May 15, 200818 yr Right, but it is also for the people who are regulars at the gyms at their schools and are home for summer. I did the FitWorks thing the past two summers and it worked out well. Exactly, as I stated before I usually just go to NKU during the school year bc it's free. However during the summer they're only open until 8 as opposed to 11 during the school year. I work til 7:30 so it just doesn't work out. On a side note today I kicked my butt. Decided I'd focus more on my legs this summer, did them for about an hour, then abs, followed by 25 on the olyptical, I don't think I've sweat that much since 2 a days five years ago.
