Paris Football Coach Resigns

Featured Replies

Paris should go after a Craig Foley of Frankfort. He is a home grown guy that can turn a program around. It will cost them some $$$$. WIth the skilled guys that Pairs has year in and out they could do somethings in the east.

That's not going to happen.

That would be an excellent choice. But I can't imagine seeing his dad wearing orange & black!

What about the coaches at Nicholas County.

To coach Paris?

Isn't that what the 2 months of summer are for? I think you can get quite a bit of weightlifting in in two months before you start football practice.

Certainly, if you want to go 3-7, by the way, that stands for 3 wins and 7 losses.

Real clever. However I don't think the spring practices helped Paris this past year as they only went 2-8. Maybe they should have just lifted throughout the summer and they could have managed one more win.

On another note, does anyone know if the hiring/interviewing process has begun? I was on the KHSAA website looking at the jobs and Paris only has asst. coach openings listed, and not the head coach position.

There was no spring practice last year, and only a hand few along with a few seniors even worked out all season. And if I recall three of them placed in LCA's Bluegrass Weightlifting Competition.

You obviously shouldn't make comments like that, you don't know what you are talking about.

Last I heard it is not posted yet, but thanks to BGPs they are getting phone calls.:thumb:

How do you know they are getting phone calls? Do you have a kid on the team?
