East and Raceland both have deep teams and can go to their bench and still get good/quality minutes.

These two have split two games this season. East beat Raceland in the Raceland "Derby Classic" tournament by a 59-55 score. Raceland beat East 64-48 later in the season. I will say that East probably is the favorite but Raceland has been playing very well down the stretch. P. Martin has been on fire lately, really playing well.

I believe one key will be if Raceland can get some quality playing time from Tyler Boyles and have him available and stronger in this one. Boyles imo is one of the best guards in the 16th region and has been out lately with an illness and was not at 100% and with limited playing time in the district.

Both teams are very well coached, should be one of the better games of the tournament. I have to go with my Ramblers.

I like the way East Carter plays they play physical and they give alot of teams troule with the size they have and Raceland has more team speed and it makes it a good game and Raceland can bang with them also with the bench they have. I am going with Raceland in a close game and I think it will be the best game of the first round.

I agree with others that this will probably be the best 1st round game.(the closest anyways) Raceland has really picked up their game as of late, and I feel that they will prevail.

I agree with what most everyone else has said as both teams are deep & have good athletes. I think the difference is East 1-5 is a little better but the real differnce maker could be if East could apply a lot of ball pressure as the one weakness Raceland has is ballhandling. It will be a good game to watch as I enjoy watching both teams. If East would force the tempo it is theirs to take

I'll guess that East is a double digit winner. I bet when the draw came down, Coach Floyd had to murmur some unmentionables under his breath (kind of like the district draw). But this ain't Lewis Co.. Good luck to both teams. Hope everyone finishes injury free!

Is there going to be a webcast for this game?

This will be a really close game, but I think Baier will be the difference maker. Late free throws will seal the deal for East in the end.
