Moss and Culpepper wanting to reunite

Featured Replies

They have been in contact and are trying to find a team where they could reunite. If I'm the Falcons I'd jump all over it. Turner/Moss/Culpepp could make a lot of angry Falcons fans pretty happy. I'm not sold on Culpepp but it would be a good way to groom a young Matt Ryan.

Ask the Raiders how that worked out for them.

The Raiders didn't have Moss and Culpepper at the same time.

I think that it could work for Atlanta. They have Turner signed and the 1-2 punch of him and Norwood will be a good one. Culpepper would be a cheaper option than drafting a QB in round one. Moss will be expensive, but he would be worth it. I like this idea. They will still have trouble stopping folks defensively, but they will score a bit.

What exactly is Randy Moss thinking? He has the best QB in the best offense in football right now - why mess that up?

This is nothing more than Moss trying to up the bidding so he can stay with the Pats for more money. Anyone that believes he wants to play with a re-tread qb instead of Gisele's boyfriend.....

If Moss would rather have Culpep instead of Brady then he should just retire because he definitely won't be getting anymore TD's. Moss and the Pats were a perfect fit and being with the Pats is probably the best way for Moss to even think about getting a SB ring. Shoot he was 2nd in voting for MVP too. Life was good for Moss he shouldn't ruin it!

Moss and Culpepper looked good together in Minnesota, but if I'm Randy Moss I'm doing everything in my power to re-sign with the Pats, they were a perfect fit.

I would substitute that with:

Moron Moron Moron Moron....Moron.

He would be on a fast path to the level of Jerry Rice if he stayed put.

He's been on the fast path to Jerry Rice that's why he wants paid IMO. I think it's great! Worst case scenerio the Pats get the price jacked up on him. That's why I would start bidding if I were other teams! If I get him then my offense is instantly better, my seats are more filled and my merchandise makes more money. If I don't then the best team in football has to pay more than they hoped for!

Seriously, how can you call a guy a moron for wanting to maximize his pay?

I suspect Moss would probably prefer to stay with Brady, but at what cost? If the difference in what the Pats are willing to pay and what he can get elsewhere is large enough, I can't fault him for moving on.

From a Patriots perspective, I wouldn't jeopardize the rest of my roster by breaking the bank to sign Moss. They can win without him.

How much money does a person really need? I figured the 100s of millions of dollars he's already accumulated would suffice. He makes money to play football. He needs to stop being greedy and just shut up and play football.

It's his life, he can live it however he chooses.

He hardly spoke last season. Perhaps not everyone sees it that way...if he could greatly increase his pay by going elsewhere, I couldn't fault him for it. He could probably get paid more and still sign with a contender...besides, supposing he leaves the Pats, maybe he has a reason for it and he doesn't want to say it publicly. And if he did, everyone would jump on him and say he needs to "shut up and play football". :D:lol:

You're right, Randy Moss is all of a sudden a choir boy. He is the poster child for everything that is right in the NFL. He can do whatever he chooses, but he'll have a hard time putting up the same numbers anywhere else.
