I don't know if the "new" 38th district names an all-tournament team.

I thought all districts named all-tournament teams?

Congrats to PC for hanging in there throughout a tough season!! Good luck to both at regionals.

Congrats Pendleton County Wildcats!! Coach Simms, Coach Cox, Coach Wirth and Coach Sowder got these boys to start playing their best ball at the right time of the year. This definitely makes up for a below average regular season. I am proud of the kids who stuck it out because at times it was very tough. You have been rewarded with a district title that nobody can take away from you! Enjoy it! Good luck in Mt. Sterling. The draw will be interesting to see.

This 38th district title makes 4 out of 5 for Pendleton County.

2004, 2005, 2006, 2008

This is a great example of, "It's not always the best team who wins the tournament, It's the team who gets hot at the right time."

Sweet, sweet vindication for Coach Simms and his surviving Wildcats!

Considered the third seed behind the homestanding Harrison County Thorobreds and the 14-11 Deming Devils, this will be a district championship that will be long remembered and savored by those who orchestrated it!

Salute!

The schools of each district decide to name an all district team or not. This district chose not.

Coach Simms would never say it as he is too nice of a guy. But this has to taste very sweet with all of the hits he has taken this season.

Congrats to a great bunch of young men who kept working hard through it all and got a nice little payoff in the end.

:thumb: I liked the big smile he had at the end of the game. It was well deserved.

Congrats to the Wildcats on a hard fought victory. I wasn't sure how they would respond, down by 9 going into the 4th. The seniors showed great leadership and Cooper hit some big shots down the stretch. I'm so happy for these kids after the tough season they had. It's good to see the trophy coming home. :D

How many times have the Wildcats beat Deming this year?

Congrats to the Wildcats. Deming is the better team...just not on this night.

Deming isn't the same team they were at the beginning of the season. They have been in a downward spiral...
