First, Congrats to the Royals on winning the 64th District Title. It was a great game with Ashland coming up short at the end, but heck doesn't that make for an exciting ball game?

 

Second, the 6-0 record against Ashland and Boyd is impressive, but the 8-0 sweep of the District is more impressive IMO. There's not much time for enjoyment right now because the Region is here and the stakes get higher. Good luck to Rose Hill I hope The Tomcats get a 4th shot in Morehead.

 

Lastly, good game Tomcats. I hope that these young Cats see from this past game that our team can compete with any team in the Region. Your community and school are behind you!!! Lets go to Morehead and give'em :fire: GO TOMCATS!!!

Onetoya, those are might kind words coming from a diehard Ashland supporter and they are much appreciated. I too hope to see another matchup between these two teams in Morehead because it means that they are in the finals. :thumb:

I'm kind of biased so I won't give my opinion, but what do you all think of tonight's officiating?

 

I think that too much is made of the officiating. The bottomline is that Ashland shot 7-11 from behind the arc and 20-23 from the free throw line. That kind of percentages will keep you in most every game.

Congrats to Rose Hill. They played a great game.

It really wasn't a close game until the last 30 seconds, final score was the closest Ashland came in the second half

Well the game was a lot closer then some on here thought it would be. It has to be the officiating.

This wasnt the score that I expected to see. I really thought Rose Hill would win in a blowout. I guess Tournament time changes a lot of things.

If there is ever a time when Dickie doesnt whine....close the casket he is obviously dead.

I can remember a couple of years ago when Dickie came to Richmond and did some All A Classic games. I thought he did a great job as a play by play announcer.
