American Eagle

Abercrombie

Hollister

Jordan

Random sports teams

Kohls

Pennys

Macys

Most of my shrits are freebies that I've gathered over the years through sports, every so often I'll buy a pack of Hanes tagless t's from Wal-Mart. I usually receive jeans as a get for Christmas or birthday, don't care what brand, they usually last me year round.

Same here, Target and Champs too.

Anymore I get most of my clothes at Wal-Mart. It's funny that as I have gotten older, even though I make more money, I spend much less on clothing.

Wow, some people on here spend a lot of money on clothes. Didn't expect that.

I never really care about what I wear. I have been getting a lot of my clothes from Steve & Barry's, new store in Florence, recently.

Adidas, Nike, village discount outlet (when I'm on a shortage for t-shirts) and if I'm going nice Express and some AE. Doc Martins for nice shoes.

Quality place.

Speaking of band tees, I'm looking forward to hearing Jim's response to this thread.

I have a big (2' x 2' x 2') computer box out in my garage that is about 3/4-full of concert T-shirts. Some of the bands located within include: KISS, The Cure, Pearl Jam (I have several of theirs), Tori Amos, Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies, Afghan Whigs, REM, Son Volt, Guided By Voices, etc.

Have probably about 10 hanging in the closet that I wear somewhat regularly:

Neil Young and Crazy Horse (from '95 I think)

Steve Earle and The Dukes x2 (one each from the "El Corazon" and "Transcendental Blues" tours)

BR5-49 (sweet-looking black T from back when they still had their original lineup, about '98, I think)

Matthew Sweet (2000 tour)

An Austin Music Hall T-shirt from the Austin Music Awards in 2000 (saw Whiskeytown and Tenacious D that night)

Stone Temple Pilots ("Tiny Music ..." tour)

V-Roys x2 ("Just Add Ice" and "All About Town" tours)

Quality place.

My mom actually went to high school with Steve. And Lindsay Lohan's mother. Not that anyone cares.

Interesting to contrast the stores frequented by what I am guessing are some of our younger members to someone my age...

Dillard's - better luck there than anywhere else. They carry Lauren, Nautica (I did say that I'm old, didn't I?), etc.

E-bay (why ANYONE would pay anywhere NEAR full price for clothes is beyond me)

Unusual tees from thrift stores, Goodwill, etc. My favorite is Valley Thrift Store on Reading Road.

Kohl's, Macy's, J.C. Penney when there are big discounts

I see no need to pay big bucks to buy "distressed" clothes when I can distress them myself for practically nothing.

It's amazing to thing the money companies have made selling jeans with holes in them.
