In A Bit Of A Pickle

Not really sure where I'm going with this one, but I'm needing to vent. So deal with it. :p

A few months ago we got new neighbors downstairs. They are, for the most part, nice people. The lady, however, has a mental disability that has become a growing problem. He works nights, and when she is left alone she can fly off the handle on a nightly basis.

Mrs GT has to be up at 5:45 Mon-Fri and the last few nights we have had to deal with her screaming, crying and throwing whatever she can get her hands on right below our bedroom. It has resulted in a serious loss of sleep and a drop in production in Mrs GTs high stress job. For those of you that know my lovely wife, you know she isn't a bundle of joy under that kind of pressure. She wants to lash out, and I'm doing my best to take the high road.

Sorry, I just needed to let off some steam. If it keeps getting worse tonight, I'm sure I'll have more... :irked:

I think you have your answer there. If they really are nice, reasonable people, I couldn't imagine approaching him about the problem would not solve the issue.

If not, invite her up for some hot tea every night before going to bed and spike her cup with some ground up Ambien pills.

He's a nice, reasonable person. If he didn't work overnight 5 days a week we wouldn't have a problem. Invite her up, and we might have to call you in for reinforcements...

Wait, so you aren't making enough money to where she can stay at home and not have to worry about a stressful job?? WHAT KIND OF HUSBAND ARE YOU!?!?!? :irked:

:p

Don't know what to tell you, maybe you should buy a couple large jet engine fans. That way you could sleep the through the noise downstairs and alarm clocks.

I say tell the woman to shut the heck up. Or call the land lord (if you have one). If not, call the police. You have the right to sleep regardless of whether or not she is crazy.

She has been taken away a few times from the others living around us calling and the landlord is well aware of the issue. It's not going to go on much longer, and I'm near the end of my rope...

Attach her neck to the other end and you may have a solution. :fire:

If she's that crazy, she needs help. Make the call, lead her to help. It's not your problem, you shouldn't have to suffer. If that is cruel, I'm sorry.

She does need help, and that's why I've been trying to go that route. It isn't working, and getting worse by the day...

Call TD and tell her to bring the Tazer and when the guy goes to work taze the woman.
