February 23, 200818 yr Registered Democrat... Voted Democrat for 20 years... Now tend to vote Republican but I maintain my Democratic membership because I do deal with the legislature at times and it seems to make doors easier to open. If our presidential primary has any significance I will vote for Clinton (I never thought I would type that) because I think she will be easier for McCain to beat in November and if she is elected I think she will do less damage to the country. I will under no circumstances vote for a Democrat in November.
February 23, 200818 yr I'm a registered Democrat, and I usually vote Democrat. However, if Hillary is elected, I may vote Republican. I haven't decided yet.
February 24, 200818 yr Registered democrat.....will vote for the person I feel is the strongest leader.
February 24, 200818 yr Registered Democrat BUT I am a Conservative. I believe homosexuality is wrong. I believe abortion is wrong. I do not believe in Socialist Health Care I believe we should let those who are stupid enough to over extend themselves(housing crisis) deal with the consequences. I believe in the 2nd Amendment = 100%
February 24, 200818 yr Registered Democrat but vote for who I feel is the best candidate regardless of party affiliation.
February 25, 200818 yr Registered Republican, but vote for whoever I hate the least. That is just funny
February 25, 200818 yr Registered Republican........ I Vote for those that offer the best on National Security................... I will never agree with everyone(nobody will) on social issues along party lines. But one thing is for sure, Republicans will keep the country secure. The rich can continue to get richer and poor will get poorer. I can live with that. I can't live with my kids walking to the Minit Mart and risk getting blown up by a radical in a moving bomb(Suicide Bomber)

They have portrayed the Republican party as a way to keep us safe, even though the biggest Attack came while a Republican was in office. After that, we have been in TWO wars for 5 years. It has depleted our treasury & our armed forces. Some military units have had to use confiscated Taliban (Russian) weapons when ours break b/c we can't get them the weapons that they need in a timely fashion.

You speak of the most current situation(Prez Bush). He may go down as the worst Republican president ever. As for a historical perspective on the Republican party, they do not continuously attempt to "Down Size" the military and do not attempt to regulate citizens weapons which is our right to bear arms(any kind of gun we want, not the ones picked out by the Dem's politicians) to protect our loved ones. The attack on the trade centers would have happened on the Clinton era as well as on the Bush era. Point is, there has not been another attack and many were avoided on the Republican watch. As far as the shortage of weapons, that wouldn't be the case if the Dem's would quite whinning about spending too much on our military. Instead they want to use the money to give hand outs for all their social programs. It's all good though. This debate won't end with us, that's for sure.

Dems & Congress have given all the funding that has been asked b/c it wasn't the troops fault that we're in Iraq. I do support Afghanistan b/c they did attack our country but I do not support the Iraq War. The info was at the least misleading to citizens & had not immediate thread to us. I do understand your position but do not agree with it. We'll agree to disagree on this matter.
February 26, 200818 yr Registered Republican but vote for the best man. I do consider myself Democrat though because of my beliefs.
