February 20, 200818 yr What does everyone think of this match-up of old teammates Kobe and Shaq tonight? Funny how these things work out and how Shaq's first game as a SUN is against his old nemesis/teammate & team the LAKERS! I look for a very exciting game & possibly a tale-tell sign of how the WEST will be won!:dancingpa
February 20, 200818 yr Lakers coasted to a win last night so they should be ready to roll. I can't wait.
February 20, 200818 yr Should be fun to watch how the Suns utilize Shaq and how much he plays. Will Steve Nash literally dribble circles around him as he runs down the floor?
February 20, 200818 yr I'm with BA, Shaq will have limited minutes. I will definitely be tuned in for this one though!
February 20, 200818 yr Whether Shaq plays 2 minutes or 30, this will be a fun game to watch. Hard to say about Regular season NBA games.
February 21, 200818 yr I know a couple buds and I will be in the dorm watching this one later for sure.
February 21, 200818 yr Author I think Shaq plays well tonight. The BIG MAN wants to send a message and tonight is the night to do so hopefully!
February 21, 200818 yr Can we just merge this to an update thread. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ap-shaqsdebut&prov=ap&type=lgns PHOENIX (AP)—Shaquille O’Neal says he is ready to run with the Phoenix Suns. Really. “I’m going to be looking to get out like Randy Moss and Terrell Owens,” he said Tuesday after going through his final workout before making his debut with the Suns on Wednesday night against his old team, the Los Angeles Lakers. The prospect of the 7-foot-1, 325-pound O’Neal, at age 35, fitting in with the high-octane Suns has been ridiculed across much of the NBA. The Lakers’ Phil Jackson, O’Neal’s former coach, said Shaq’s role would be “taking the ball out of bounds and waiting for the other team to get back.”
