Hey Rockmom, I live two blocks from Assumption, on Hoock. My girl goes to Mercy! Something happened in 7th grade, when she changed from AHS to Mercy. She said she couldn't explain it to me, it just felt right. I guess we catholics grab that phrase early, and use it often! :lol:

Sorry....back to the topic!

If we fast forward for about three years, I just wonder who is going to pay for the new uniforms for the Track, Girls volleyball, Boys and Girls Soccer, Field Hockey etc...???? Some schools live year round on the funds generated from playing private schools due to the gate and concessions...... Better be careful there. Once the separation takes place and the privates find new opponents (out of state), they will not be coming back to play publics because they need the money for non revenue generating sports.......

This situation also brings to light a renewed enthusiasm for rivalries and light on the concept of " Hammer it home and make' em pay". I for see a couple of schools which may not be satisfied with the halftime score being 41 - 0..... Look out second half.....
