That is a bit of a stretch. Artose Pinner, Travis Prentice, Eric Shelton, Frank Moreau, Vic Anderson, Doug Beaumont are all better than Phillips since Shawn Alexander played.

If the Watts kid from Mccreary Central puts up some big numbers, which he is capable of doing, he may be in the running. He is a well known name because he is dominate in 3 sports so people tend to look at how he performs. However, the key will be can the coaches find a supporting cast that will allow him to put up the #'s he need against the likes of Bell co., Rockcastle, Knox Central, Madison So. Campbellsville and Leslie Co? In the past the answer would be know and it may be the same in 2008. As said in an earlier post, only time will tell. I know the program in McCreary Co. has been steadily improving and they do have some nice young players moving up!

I will disagree as well. Duece Finch is a bigger, better, just as fast running back that will be more highly recruited. Two very different styles as noted above.

While I would agree that Deuce will be more highly recruited due mainly to their size differential I certainly don't believe that he is any better of a high school running back than Tim. Both are fantastic athletes and a credit to their respective schools. I only hope that they both have injury free senior campaigns & the rest will sort itself out. :thumb:

1. Duece is bigger

 

2. If you are predicting Duece's senior year, he may prove to be better. Based on the last two years, Tim is better statistically and has the hardware to prove it.

 

3. I would take Tim in a sprint race any time.

 

4. Duece will probably get more D-1 looks, because of his size.

 

In summary, both are excellent backs, but only looking at what they have done so far, I'll give Tim the nod. He has had the better high school career. He is more versatile.
