"IF" elected Hillary has said that National healthcare will be one of her number one priorities. She stated that she is the only candidate left pushing this idea. Where do all of you come down on this idea?

I don't care for it at all. And as far as her wanting EVERYONE to pay their share, if they don't have the money they can't pay, right. So in other words by health insurance and live on the street .

I don't think Dr's and medical professionals like it.

At least 14,000 physicians want it. http://www.pnhp.org/about/about_pnhp.php

And I've talked to numerous physicians personally that want it since I was pre-med when I was first in college. Physicians in France, and the UK make just as much money as American physicians so there's really no difference.

And last time I checked, France, Japan, the UK, Germany, and Canada weren't socialist nations so the socialism paranoia is just bunk to me.

You realize, all the countries you mentioned don't have as good Health Care as the US has now? We have our problems, but this is the country to be in if you have health issues.

Actually all of those countries listed have been rated higher in Healthcare by the World Health Organization. We are No. 37 right behind Costa Rica and right above Slovenia and only two above Cuba. We also have a higher infant mortality rate than those nations listed above us.

So you would rather go to Costa Rica for your health care? You might want to check how healthcare was measured in this rating. Me personally, I would likely choose to have any major medical work completed here in the 37th ranked country. What about you?

Ok believe what you want. I have a friend from France whom I went to college with and she was afraid of going to the hospital in the USA when she hurt her ankle. Satisfaction rates in the countries in the top 5 are way higher than the USA. And, I'm still looking for countries with national healthcare that have become socialist in the past 60 years.

Have you looked at Cuba yet? Sweden? Denmark? Many representative democracies have thriving socialist parties. Socialism is adaptable and can thrive in totalitarian governments or in democracies.

Generally, people who live in free societies do not just wake up one morning and realize that they are living in a socialist country. Socialism is usually implemented incrementally by the gradual adoption of programs like nationalized health care.

All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
