Birdsfan Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Mark Halperin of The New York Times is saying that multiple sources tell him that Mitt Romney will announce his withdraw from the 2008 presidential campaign later today.

Wow Rush says don't blame him and his talk radio cohorts when the Republican party loses in November . Almost all of the talk radio guys have been railing against McCain all along. Guess Rush doesn't run the party after all.

HHSDad Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Great. I can vote for the Democrat candidate and have at least 4 years of a liberal president or I can vote for McCain and guarantee at least 8 years of a liberal president.

4chs Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I think Rush really wants Hillary to win. Clinton winning would probably be good for his show.
Hatz Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I think Rush really wants Hillary to win. We laugh at the notion but when did his career REALLY take off? It was when Clinton was first elected. He had a TV show and radio for those years. I would not be surprised if he and some others wouldn't savor the notion of lining their pockets with a Hillary or Obama presidency.

That's what I'm saying. It's good for his ratings if Hillary or Obama get elected. At least with Romney he could rail on Democrats who opposed him. I think it will be hard for him to hold a large audience while heavily criticizing a Republican.
