February 5, 200818 yr Author Win a meaningful game some time during the last ten years and we'll talk. What does that have to do with anything? In the NFL, teams come from nowhere to get to the Super Bowl at the time. Besides that, they HAVE won playoff games in at least 2 of the last 5 years.
February 5, 200818 yr The Pats have been in 4 of the last 7 Super Bowls, winning 3 of them, and played in 5 of the last 7 AFC Championship games winning 4 of them. That's an amazing level of consistency. I think the odds are about right.

February 5, 200818 yr The Packers were the youngest team in the NFL this past season. In my opinion, I just see them getting better and better for the next couple of years. The Giants were pretty young too. 7 rookies that got a lot of PT. Would have been 8 had Craig Dahl not got injured. Kevin Boss, Steve Smith, Michael Matthews, Ahmad Bradshaw, Jay Alford, Michael Johnson, Zach Deossie.
February 5, 200818 yr My 1st choice would be: I'm taking the Chargers next year. They had to many injuries to deal with in the post-season. With a fresh L.T., Gates, and Rivers, they may be very dangerous. My second would be: The Colt were badly over-looked this year, and I see them making a statement next year. I'm gonna throw in some dark horses that may take a run at it. The Bengals didn't play good any, but they still about got to the playoffs. I know the Rams were pitiful this year, but there's loads of talent on that team. The Browns really showed me that they can play this year, may want to keep an eye on them. These are some teams that may surprise you next year. Those are my thoughts for next year.
