How do you stereotype a crowd of 500 or 600 for the action's of ten or twelve?

 

How did you come up with that number? I don't think "buttels" mentioned how many. Only ten or twelve, that's hard to believe! I've seen the passion in the Gallatin Co. fans and have seen the behaviors that "buttels" is talking about. Sorry to hear that they (however many there were) sunk to that level. Whether it be 1 or 601, it's a reflection on the school.

It's hard for me to imagine Gallatin only scoring 40 points. Congrats to GC though on a nice run.

The Bulldgos managed to pull out another win against a good Gallatin County team last night in the All A thanks to our smothering defense. Things could have been so much easier if we had hit our freethrows, but it was not meant to bel! We had several young men who played reallly well, but Robert Warren was the man of the hour and was awarded Player of the Game honors! Today, we play Rose Hill Christian and I believe we can beat this group if we continue to play as a team and HIT OUR FREETHROWS!:ylsuper:

GC is a solid team, they were just overmatched in the post. GC took control of the game in the 2q with their zone D. In the 2nd half they played man to man which allowed Hazard to pound the ball down low. That allowed Hazard to get easy buckets and get back and set up their man to man D. GC got most of their points in transition, lead by #13. That young man is a player, fun to watch.

Wow..sorry to hear about the loss. Sounds like a tough one. Just rebound and prepare for the real State Tournament.

Hazard pulled this one out, but I was impressed with the hustle and don't quit attitude of Gallatin County. Their zone defense, which they played for most of the game, gave Hazard problems. I was a little confused why Whitaker didn't take more 3's than he did, he had openings over the zone many times, but chose not to shoot. Hazard also threw the ball away quite a few times trying to force entry passes from the baseline to the inside, but Gallatin came away with steals in many cases. If Hazard shoots better from the free throw line, though, the game isn't close. Their center, Jones, missed a bunch of them.

I think Hazard has a good chance of taking home the title. This should be a great final four this year.

Gallatin County did not shoot well at all last night. I was surprised that Gallatin County played zone most of the game. Watching the Wildcats before, they mostly played man to man. This was a good showing for the Wildcats and was definitely a tough match up. Hazard is a very good basketball team and even when they do not hit free throws or play as well as they wish, the Bulldogs came away with a victory. That is what good teams do! Congrats to the cats on two straight strong runs in the "A". The elite eight back to back is impressive. Good luck in the future.

Just got home and will have to say Hazard was just too physical for the Wildcats. Not so much height wise, but with girth. Once again the Cats did not hit a 3 pointer, but their first attempt did come until 5 minutes left in the game.

The last 3 were in the final minute.

There were a few questionable calls down the stretch, but I don't believe they had any bearing on the outcome. Gallatin would have still had to convert on the offensive end and they had trouble all night.

I don't believe I made a PREDICTION on this one! If it wasn't for the third quarter the Cats might have pulled this one out!

No problem with Gallatin. Not all my posts are negative (predicted them to beat Walton, Trimble, Carroll and picked them as one of the top two in the region - that's pretty complimentary). Just because I don't always agree with the Gallatin faithful doesn't mean I have a problem with them. Don't get so defensive everything is okay:thumb:
