He has committed verbally to Georgetown today, and is expected to sign this coming Wednesday. He will play tight end for the Tigers.

Jackson worked very hard on his strength and speed to become an outstanding football player. He has earned everything he's gotten or received. We are proud of him, and it has been a blessing to be his coach.

 

Any time one of our guys gets to go to Georgetown, we are excited for them and the opportunity- a great program with a tremendous staff.

Curious as to his stats, can you tell me his basic numbers, height, weight, 40, bench, and/or receiving stats? I definately know stats don't tell the story, but I just want to get a feel for what kind of players Georgetown is recruiting these days.

He is 6'2 and I would say 215-220,he runs a 4.6 40 and benchs 360,on max preps his stats where 15 catches for 289 yards and 3 TD,he also made 130 plus tackles and had 13 sacks with 1 int and 7 fumble recoveries.

Those are some good numbers, no matter what level you're playing. Good to see Georgetown is able to get that quality of player. I hope he has a good year/career there.
