Not a big blow,he gave little scoring and was a liability late in games,he and his family got what they wanted a championship ring and another trrip to state tourney, family was unhappy with the way he was handled with game situations ,Mason will survive with the great young players that have been in the system.

This is not and attack or issue with you this is an attack on a system that is flaued if a player is a finalist for Mr. Football or a all-state 1st or 2nd team player he should make the squad before someone who is not ,coachs nominate the players for the game they also vote on all-state and Mr. Football how could there be so much difference in the two situations something is wrong, even the game director says that some of the best players do not make the game and I hope Mason county gets the turf it is long overdue. -

I am sure their colleges did not want some of them to play but also they had to pay 200 dollars to play, while in some of the other games they did not. -

Yes I no but Jeremy Thompson was a finalist for Mr. football this year I think that qualifies him to play in the game and Jackson Tolle was a second team all-state de last year and was left off the squad ,just as Jeremy was ,both kids were the best players on the team in their respective years. -

The best players do not get invited ,to many coachs pick their favorites and do not send the best ,people are not going to pay to watch anything but the best I no for a fact Mason counties best players have been left out the last 2 years. -

08 bench of Tolle, Hamm,Pawsat would make the difference. -
I see no alternate list on the link Danny Weddles blog said that there was a alternate list that the kids were on , was Jackson on the alternate list or was this the good old boy system where coachs in the association get together and name who they want.If there was a committee then Jackson was named to the 2nd team all-state defense ,I do think Cox and Brace are very worthy of this but ,leaving out one of the top players in the state voted on by the coachs makes no sense there are not 33 better players in the eastern part of the state than Jackson Tolle.

Where is their all-state de Jackson Tolle was he already named to the team ? He was by far Mason counties best player and was probably the best player in the region other than Dustin May,surley coach Buchanan who is all about his players has Jackson on the team, it was bad that the Ledger did not have him as defensive player of the year.Jackson just does not get the credit he deserves he is a great young man and deseveres better than what he has gotten ,can someone please tell me if he is already on the team.

With May,Tolle and Simpson returning from d-1 those three G-town got can play.

Keith Downig is a great defender he brings alot on the defense end because he plays hard all the time and never gives in he is the most consistent on ball defender Mason has. -

He is 6'2 and I would say 215-220,he runs a 4.6 40 and benchs 360,on max preps his stats where 15 catches for 289 yards and 3 TD,he also made 130 plus tackles and had 13 sacks with 1 int and 7 fumble recoveries. -

He should just feel lucky to still be on the team kids have been kicked off for less.He is a project at best and needs to refine his skills before he tries to play at the varsity level. If he sticks around next year he might be a good player but he has alot of work to do. -

That is not true Tolle and Brooks were being covered one on one several times the Mason fans were going crazy there was no saftey and we did not go to our best players ,but we did not throw to them enough all year, Russell had no answer if Mason would have thrown the ball they would have won by 2 touchdowns.Thompson had not finished off a run since he got hurt if you were going to run the ball Pollit should have run it. The game was lost when Mason had the ball 2nd and goal from the 4.Mason should have either run the fade, short dump to Tolle or powered the ball with Pollit.Thompson is a dancer not a power runner and who did not no on short yardage Cox who was way overused on the qb sneak was not coming .Ivan plays to his strengths where Mason tries to trick everyone. Its easy Russell could not cover the pass Mason should have won easy. -

Mason counties Jackson Tolle played with a severe ear infection, he had to go to the hospital after the game the doctor told his parents he did not know how he played, the kid has a heart the size of Kentucky ,he had a tremendous game what a effort.
