Most??? Maybe most that come to the games but those are the kids whose parents can drop $30.00 along with all of the school fees at the beginning of the year. The other kids who do not show up are the ones that I worry about. Those are the kids whose parents would not shell out or can not shell out $30.00 for the pass and it is up to the kid to say lunch money or work money to pay the $5.00 for each game they go to. In fact most schools in the area that sell student passes sell it for less than what Campbell Co does. I really hope that this is looked at before next season.

 

5 dollars is a joke, I will not pay that much unless it is districts.

Bo Queen is one of the finest, most conscietious officials ever to work a ballgame.

 

I'm sure that Rick Chasteen would love to clone him about a hundred times and so would the majority of the 10th/11th Region coaches.

Most of the students (I would say the majority of those who go to the games) pay $30 for a camel card and that gets them into any home game for the whole year.

 

How many home games though? 6?

The season pass is good for all sports, football, basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball and any other sports I neglected to include. Its really a good deal if you like coming out and supporting your school teams.

Name a high school team in the time frame you are talking about that pressed or presses the entire game.

I was going to cite LexCath especially. They are very similar to CovCath in terms of size, versatility, etc. and they employ a zone press all game. Holmes pretty much does it as well.

Have no idea nor care who the idiots were and there is no desire to be pleased. 10 to 1 on foul calls and both employing trapping, pressure and hand checking defenses, it simply speaks for itself.

 

The call on Franzen for pushing "after the shot" and rewarding the possession instead of a free throw (the pushing, if it occured as he was coming down from the block attempt). Franzen being pushed out is another, with many more. As far as I am concerned Chasteen is a blow hard. He figured out where he stood when he ran for county office and got trounced.

 

I might add the political cliques that exist inside these various associations is probably why more than a few have left the profession. Chasteen is right there with it on favored nation status management. I'll back off when I see active efforts to improve this BBOA group instead of their accepted norms.:thumb:

Glad to see a Joe Roberts IDEA be allowed to happen. Was not the case a couple of years ago.

How many home games though? 6?

 

It is for ALL Campbell County home games for ALL sports. This does not include playoffs.

 

I know $5 is steep for students but IMO it would not make a difference if the game price was $2 or $5 we would still see the same kids at the games. Anyone know how many $2 tickets were sold? I was told fewer than 20.
