Top QB's going Pro

Nevermind I found it, Ainge threw 1 less pick, but Dre thru 9 more td's, had a higher completion percentage and a Higher QB rating, I guess I like to dream big...

Wow...This is going to be such a WEAK, WEAK draft class of QB's...

I agree. I have been saying this for months. I would not draft any of these guys unless it was later on in the draft.

The QB with the biggest upside of any in this draft is Josh Johnson. He is mechanically sound from working with Jim Harbaugh for 3 years. He reads defenses well and he is mobile. He has a strong arm and played in a pro-style offense in college. His issue is his weight. He is under 200lbs. He will have to bulk up. He will be starting in the league in three years and he will have a real shot to be a great player. He has impressed me the most of any QB I have seen this year. He only threw 3 picks all year. The level of competition is obviously an issue, but he outshined every QB at the East/West Shrine Game. He is a good prospect to take a flyer on in the 3rd or 4th round, IMO.

I've seen Johnson in person 4 times. He's a very good athlete, but IMO he's a wide reciever in the NFL. He's more like Randle El than Peyton Manning. He'll be a quality player for someone but I don't think it will be at QB.

I disagree. He can move, but his mechanics are very sound and he passes much better than Randle El ever did. He is a ways away from what he can be, a project for certain. Again, I'm really high on him and I think he will be a steal for some team late in the draft.

I agree but I would be more into thinking he's like the guy from Arkansas a few years ago, than Randle El

Not quite as big or as fast as Matt Jones- I think he is more mechanically sound as a passer as well.

I am having the darndest time thinking of a fair comparison, maybe Seneca Wallace?

This looks good.

I've seen several mock's with Brohm not in the 1st round.

You know what the point is, don't play coy mr. passive agressive:D

Honestly, no one can ever project who will be successful. I find it hilarious that some of these clowns waste their time on mock drafts and projecting who goes where. Congrats, you went in the top 5 picks but you amounted to nothing...

Off-season football is the worst...

Also, a lot of the coaches take as much from the personal workouts than they do from their college career. Too many variables...

I honestly don't...

Five whose stock fell

1. Andre' Woodson, QB, Kentucky

What went wrong? San Francisco offensive coordinator Mike Martz's system proved to be a terrible fit for Woodson, who seemingly regressed with each practice. Woodson's delivery looked longer than normal and his accuracy suffered. He also was unable to showcase his fastball throughout the week.

Draft projection: Second round.

4. Colt Brennan, QB, Hawaii

What went wrong? He was able to showcase a quick release and good timing as a passer. But unfortunately for Brennan, most NFL decision-makers left Mobile wondering how this 6-foot-2, 185-pounder with a three-quarter release point and below-average arm strength would make it at the next level.

Draft projection: Fourth or fifth round.

Injury report

Several injuries were either uncovered prior to this year's Senior Bowl or occurred during practices and on gameday. Either way, NFL team doctors will be keeping an extra close eye on the following group of hobbled prospects: • Louisville QB Brian Brohm (ankle).

Point being?

Many have Ryan going in the Top 5... way ahead of Brohm, yet he is "1A" in your eyes?

Also, I remember a post along the lines of the only guy from KY going in the 1st round wears red.

Don't be so sure.

Anyone putting Woodson in front of Eric Ainge is dreaming! Ainge isn't the best QB in the draft (I'd put him at 3-5) but he has a bigger upside than Woodson. Can play the Pro-Style O and knows when to dump the ball off or out of play. Dosen't make many mistakes, but does need a good O line to protect him.

I'd look for him to go somewhere like the Colts in the 2nd round. It would benefit him to play under someone like a Manning or a Favre for a few season to see if he has the stuff.

I'll dream big all day!!! I'd take Woodson over Ainge every day and twice on sundays.

Beside that point Why is Matt Ryan ranked so high? The kid has shown me anything IMO.
