Cardio, cardio, cardio. You can crunch until you die, but if the fat layer is there, you are not going to get awesome abs. High-intensity cardio is the only way to go. (I'm kind of an expert in reducing the midsection!;))

What kind of cardio do you suggest

My family has a genetic propensity towards belly fat. I've started my quest to keep it in check. I find that riding a bike works well for me, but I hate to run. Eliptical machines are good for cardio as well.

On abs I do standard crunches until I can't do any more. I then tilt my legs to work my obliques. I stretch my legs out and do crunches to work on my lower stomach. Also, if you build up your chest and other muscles, your stomach won't look as bad and the added muscle burns more calories.

Stop eating crap. You can cardio all you want but if you dont stop drinking beer, eating cheetos, knocking back Big Macs and eating Chinese you will never lose it.

You act like you have had a bunch of kids and had to get in shape several times after pregnancy. WHAT KIND OF EXPERT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!? :p

I would take 3TL's advice and eat better. I'm currently in an "eating situation" where I'm eating 1500 calories a day and avoiding all the crappola. Takes time and just mix that with the cardio and you should see results in 10-15 years. :thumb:
