Thank you!!!! Beat Walton Verona in the finals.LOL!

You must be really proud! Seems as though you get more enjoyment out of seeing Walton Verona lose than you get out of winning.

When does Trimble play down in Richmond? Anyone know yet? I'd like to travel down, and watch them. Anyone want to join!!?!

Thanks, but I would rather have a root canal!!!

Wow, either you do not like Trimble or you love dental work!

Jeanie that is a good idea, I just wish it was not so late. Our kids have school the next day. We talked about going but I just do not see how they could go and get back home before 1:30 am.

I wish they played a little earlier and we would for sure go.!

I will more than likely be there! If our boys win, Go Cats!

Good point. I wish it wasn't so late. I'd love to go with you all and just enjoy some great girl games!

Jeanie I understande you're frustrated because of the outcomes of some of your games that maybe your team "should have" won in your opinion. I don't post alot but I'm on the site almost everyday. I don't think I've seen one positive thing from you after any WV loss. We know kids read this site. Post your excuses if it makes you feel better. But how about a Congrats to Coach Stewart and the Lady Raiders. Good Luck in Richmond. Your region is cheering for you. Maybe this attitude could spread to your team and turn some of those L's into W's. It's all about attitude.

You say that I am upset after every loss? Well, shouldn't you or anyone that is competitive be upset after the team gets an "L"? Or should I get on here and say great job ladies, you lost? Not trying to be smart or anything, but the reason this site was started was to express your thoughts. And if Walton loses, I am upset. Just like a player is upset when they lose. It's that simple.

When Walton wins, were happy. That's how it works, you lose, you’re upset, and you win, your happy. :thumb:

Many coaches don't believe in moral victories, and I don't either. I think it is right to point out where a team lost the game, so it can be fixed for the next game. Just like when teams get together and watch game tape. They watch it to see where they went wrong, and I am writing on here, where Walton went wrong. How is that negative?

Back to this game. Like I stated above, Trimble won, they played good and they beat Walton, that's simple. And I'm glad their going to Richmond; it's a good team to represent the 8th. But I still can say Walton was out coached, with the whole 4th quarter. I love Walton and I am very competitive. I want to win, and I know the girls want the same thing! I don't why you think I am always negative? Please tell me, so I can fix it! I even want to go down to Richmond so I can root on them Radiers! I sure don't want a Root Canal!!

Well, let me talk about the other team on this thread. ;) I knew that WV would overlook TC just a bit...what suprised me is that many are still doing so! Miller is an inside presence that every team must deal with. She almost had a triple double that night. Megan Stewart is a consistent three point shooter and Callis (sophomore that moved up to a starting position since WV played them last time) can step up if Megan is being double teamed. Trimble is a good team, and as the tournament showed, several teams are very evenly matched, NOT head and shoulders above anyone except Eminence. As I told Lunatic1, I was actually glad that WV won the first round and not CC, because I thought we matched up much better against the Lady Bearcats then the Lady Panthers.

As far as coaching, Coach Stewart is in her 7th season as a head coach and probably at least that many as an assistant. I could look it up, but I am guessing Coach Rosen doesn't have as much experience. If she did get outcoached, then consider it experience that she can use next time.

As for anyone that doesn't have a root canal scheduled and would like to come to Richmond, we welcome your attendance. And...if you can't come, and want to be a good sport and wear blue and/or gold to work that day, that is appreciated, too. Lunatic1 invited me to participate in the "black out" last year when the Lady Panthers won and I happily did so.

I will be wearing my Blue and if I find some gold I will wear that too. Go Lady Raiders.:dancingpa

Thanks, OneCat...I knew that we could count on you!

That is the WHAT IFS I am talking about. All of the WV fans want to blame somebody instead of just going on with a LOSS:jump:!

Your right we should be glad it could be worse we could be Gallatin!!

That is a good one considering the only way your team is going to RICH MOND is with a ticket, just like Gallatin.

Did you all go to the Wizard of OZ before the season!:D:D

Congratulations to Trimble. I haven't been to too many girls games this year and was not able to see the girls play in the A. But I did watch the Carroll Trimble game and felt so bad for Miller after that game.

From what I have seen Trimble always plays hard and never gives up no matter who their opponent is. They expect that they can win every game played.

Congrats to Trimble. I hope we can make it down to watch the games in Richmond!!
