I think Heeger might have been out because her 3 point shots were not falling in the 4th quarter. With 5 points in the game it might have been an off shooting night for her.

 

I believe the Coach though that the sub might be shooting better on this particular night. Just an observation. In reality, Trimble and WV just do not match up well and Trimble played to their advantage.

 

Just like the next night TC struggled with Williamstown. It is just how you are playing at that time. None of these teams are so dominate that they are the clear favorites in the all A.

 

THe pre-season poll means nothing and even the previews mean little. Hey Carroll was disappointed but we can not blame anyone except our shooting. You can not be 3/24 in 3's and think you are going to win. It just happens sometimes.

 

I know WV is disappointed, I just think this is a tough tournament to win. Having a bye is an advantage, playing at home is an advantage. A deep bench is an advantage. The time was right for Trimble.

 

WV will finish the season strong and they are laying a great foundation for the future. They will be young next year as many of the teams in the tournament will be and will have another chance in the future.

Jeanie I understande you're frustrated because of the outcomes of some of your games that maybe your team "should have" won in your opinion. I don't post alot but I'm on the site almost everyday. I don't think I've seen one positive thing from you after any WV loss. We know kids read this site. Post your excuses if it makes you feel better. But how about a Congrats to Coach Stewart and the Lady Raiders. Good Luck in Richmond. Your region is cheering for you. Maybe this attitude could spread to your team and turn some of those L's into W's. It's all about attitude.

 

If you read some of my previous posts in this thread, I have congratulated the Lady Raiders. It was a great win for them. But people post on

Bluegrass Preps to state their frustrations and discuss how their teams are doing and their opinions on situations. I believe that's all I have been doing.
