I haven't seen Ashland this year, but I did see Rose Hill for a quarter against the MS team at LexCath last weekend. Their role players seem to be developing.

 

I am surprised to see a Biggs-coached team score only 38. Of course, he had a heck of a class that graduated in 2006 over in Falmouth. Was it missed shots tonight? RH defense?

 

With Elliott's close call against East tonight, I'd say that there are a few 16th Region squads, RH being one, that have a little better feeling about late February and early March that they did a couple of weeks ago.

IMO the Tomcats will regroup and rebound from this loss and certainly will be ready for the rest of the season and the district.

I never give Rose Hill credit. I have been known to be a "Rose Hill hater", but tonight I will say nice win for the Royals. They are starting to mature and Coach Fraley has them tournament tested with a tough tough schedule. They should be a force this weekend in the All A. Congrats Royals. There I said it and maybe some of y'all from the Hill will get me off your hate list!

Good win for the Royals. As posted earlier Mike Davis was the games MVP. Both teams struggled to get the ball in the hoop. Ashland 29% and Rose Hill 33%. The defense for both teams played well.

Great win for Rose Hill. The tough schedule will pay off in the end. What's up with the Ashland offense? I have never seen a Tomcat team have such a tough time scoring.

I am hoping and planning to see a great game Monday Jan. 21st. Rose Hill vs. Elliott at Bath County. One little problem. Elliott must beat Raceland.

 

This potential game I will drive 2 hours to see!! Especially since they haven't played each other since the 05/06 season.

Holy Smoke. I didn't expect this kind of gap. I thought the way the poll was headed yesterday Ashland was gonna whip RoseHill. The Ashland radio guy kept calling Jackson the transfer, but he never referred to Matt as a transfer. I wonder what the difference was. Good luck to both of those teams heading into the districts.

Jackson and his entire family moved here from Lexington 4 years ago.
