January 14, 200818 yr Seems playing in the NBA hasn't changed Joakim Noah one bit. I wonder if he's still doing the chest thump? http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/bulls/chi-080113-joakimnoahchicagobulls,1,5314428.story?coll=cs-home-headlines
January 14, 200818 yr I read about this this morning while I was reading the Herald-Leader. I love it. I personally can't stand this kid. Just because he wins back to back national titles, he thinks he can get away with anything.. lol
January 14, 200818 yr Sounds like for the moment at least he's handling the punishment in a mature manner. Let's see how long that lasts.
January 14, 200818 yr Nice job by the Bulls players to take a stance in favor of their coach. Nothing worse than a player who thinks he is above the game and shows no respect to his coaching staff. I didn't like Noah as a Gator and nothing has changed now that he is a Bull. (Although I'm not convinced he is really a Bull)
January 14, 200818 yr He's an immature, self-absorbed punk. We'll be hearing from this guy (in a negative way) for years to come.
January 14, 200818 yr This is probably being made into a bigger deal than it really is. Coaches get yelled at a lot by players. We don't always hear about it . Good for the Bulls players in trying to teach him a lesson and good for Noah on how he has accepted it so far. Noah's head will not be his challenge in the NBA. Its his abilities to actually play against grown men that may be the challenge.
January 14, 200818 yr Is Noah wearing a headband in the NBA? The bulls dont let there players wear headbands.
January 14, 200818 yr Author The bulls dont let there players wear headbands. Unless your name is Ben Wallace--at least he tried to!

Its his abilities to actually play against grown men that may be the challenge. He is an above average player that would have a chance to be much more than above average were he not such a head case and so full of himself. His "head" - i.e., lack of discipline and maturity - will relegate to him an NBA afterthought in a few years. At least I hope so. Man, I don't know what it is about this guy, but I can't stand him.
January 14, 200818 yr Made a mistake, with the verbal comments toward a Coach. The being late, is completely unprofessional and will cause loss of respect, among your peers. If he can't take criticism, both constructive and negative, he may need to take up an individual sport, like his father. I think he'll learn, move on and be a better person.
