Just wondering why Holmes would be looking ahead to Franklin County a team that CovCath has beaten already? Like many have stated this is a huge seeding game in the 35th District, as the winner gets to play Beechwood (usually) and not CovHoly Cross or CovCath in the first round.

Just kidding about the looking ahead..BUT..Cov. Cath. is not the same team they were in the 5/3rd. Franklin County gave them a game without two starters...one their leading scorer. But I will predict Holmes will have no trouble dispatching Cov. Catholic now and the unathletic Franklin County who now has more injury problems.

Holmes will win this by 10. I dont think Shover and Roll can handle the pressure the full game. You have to get the ball up the court in order to get it to your bread and butter in Maile and Grimes and it will be tough. I expect Henderson to defend Grimes and every shot will be contested by a very athletic Holmes Bulldog team. CCH is struggling but come tourney time they will be right there. Games right now are not so important especially in CCH land right now. However, with that said they do have to re=focus and get back on track and learn to win without Bondick. When he comes back, they wil be that much better.

I disagree. Roll cannot handle the pressure. Shover surely can. Roll needs to step up and not turn the rock over.

If i am Cov Cath i dont run with the Bulldogs, play your game which is to run a half court offense. Cov Cath would love to see this game in the 40's, Holmes is eager to get out and run and play in the 70's and 80's. If Cov Cath allows Holmes to score more than 60 or 65 points i dont see Cov Cath having a chance at winning. Should be a good game, i just hope getting there by 7 will get me a decent seat.

You will have no problem finding a good seat. Parking may be an issue. This game never gets a packed house at Holmes during the regular season.
