I guess you missed the jail bird uniforms and the "where's bud" chant....we are talking about high school kids here...that just beat the number 1 team in the state, what are they supposed to do...not be excited? I was waiting for the Scott County fan section to start chanting "we dont need him" when we were up 18 and the Mason fans were chanting "where's bud"......

Now let's not pick fun at the kids... they shouldn't be the butt of jokes. They're just kids, ya know? Give them a break. He can't be a superstar every game.

At the same time, as soon as anybody signs with the University of Kentucky, a spotlight is put upon them and people like myself expect to see something from them when we attend their games. I have no problem with an off shooting night or a bad night in general, but the one thing any kid can bring is an attitude. Miller seemed to bring absolutely nothing tonight and that was disappointing.

It's just part of the game. Kids will be kids. They come up with themes for every game to dress up, and I guess they figured this one would be funny, but it doesn't mean it's right. Sounds like lack of class from both sides, but like I said.. kids will be kids.

He was in foul trouble and Scott Co D was all over him. Come back for another big game and watch D. He takes the big shots and has helped Mason Co alot this season winning big games.

Yes, but can you imagine the pressure? The spotlight is turned on and there is a lot of pressure put on you. You're playing on one of the best teams in the state, your'e supposed to run away with Mr. Basketball, you're a Kentucky signee... he has a lot of things running through his mind. I'm not giving excuses, I'm just saying that he's entitled to an off-night just like anyone else, whether we believe it or not. He's just a kid.

Only one fan was taken out by the cops, that was a Mason fan, its a rivalry game, solid showng by both fan bases, both groups did innapproprate things (not that that is good , but it was a good atmosphere..... Already looking forward to next year back at the Bird's Nest!

If teams like Scott County and Mason County "act like you have won before" as you suggest, then why not just play the game before an empty house. Anytime you beat the No. 1 in the state (regardless of whether you are the top program in the state like Scott County obviously is), you get excited. Like I have seen other posts about being too harsh on Miller, don't be too harsh on HS kids who just are enjoying their team have success.

Come on guys keep it on the game not the crowds or were going to loose this game thread .It was a big game with lots of emotion and Scott County dont go into many games as underdogs and i thought there kids had every right to celebrate the big win.Had Mason done the same last year in Georgetown and they almost did our kids would have done the same thing.

He did have a really nasty dunk in warm ups, I wished the refs would have stayed in a little longer, Miller can soar!

Bottom line is Scott Co was the better team TONIGHT. Missed FT's and lay ups for the Royals. Hope to see these two teams meet up again.

G'lawn Guyn can apply pressure at the guard spot, but who else from Scott County help create so many turnovers from Mason County? It sounds like they played a poor game without their "go-to" guy for much of the game.

I agree with that 100%. Would love to see the teams play again, especially with Miller at his peak and Setty and Middleton without sickness. I know Scott County controlled the game tonight, but who knows what will happen next time.
