CCH24 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Covington Catholics intramural squads took to the hardwood on Sunday to kick off what seems to be the most competive bball in the state. What surprised me the most was the senior division, the iron was unkind and the leading scoring was Jake Punch(Chad Pennington) with 20 points. Any thoughts on who will take it to the ship?:
frmwaydwntwn1212 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I don't think this really is a topic for discussion on this board!
CCH24 Posted January 11, 2008 Author Posted January 11, 2008 If you don't have anything nice to say about IBL dont say anything at all. . .you were clearly drafted in the bottom rounds.
DMZ76 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Why not? I support all Hoops! I think ALL HS should have intramural programs for the boys/girls.
CCH24 Posted January 11, 2008 Author Posted January 11, 2008 The top 10 IBL players from CCH's league could compete with some of the All A schools varsity teams. Not knocking their teams, but the level of talent in this league is fantastic. Top players include: Brent Buckley Brian Schafer Danny Niehaus Andrew LaFever Mark Mcphillips Rob Egan Tyler Holocher Brandon Nutini Pat Van Sant
SvFan4life Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Intramural leagues of any sport are usually designated to the general discussion forum. :thumb:
CCH24 Posted January 11, 2008 Author Posted January 11, 2008 This is no usual league. . And this is the boys basketball board if im not mistaken.
SvFan4life Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 ^ It doesn't matter. Boys basketball forum is designated for boys high school basketball. If you take a glance at the general discussion forum you will see other various threads about non-high school related basketball.

I doubt either would be beaten...

Pat Vansant can play the football and can't wait to see him on the baseball field but can he dribble???haha Have a good time guys!
cchcolonels08 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 You missed the greatest game in IBL history if you didn't come to the packed gym at CCH Sunday night. It seemed that the theme was bring your girlfriend? I missed the memo. Team Simindinger beat rival Team Schulte in the 4th ot with Team Simendinger making a game winning, sudden death, shot! You don't see many games like this one!

Nutini although a good player may very well be the 4th or 5th best player on this list. And Yes Silver Grove and Bracken county would be defeated by double digits. :sssh:
