Very entertaining game.

Tennessee was on the verge of taking OM out when they got up 12, but then took some quick shots and Ole Miss was off and running in transition.

I was extremely impressed with Eniel Polynice of Ole Miss. He was simply fantastic in the open court. Curtis and Williams are loads inside. Ole Miss was up four but had a couple of poor possessions were they took bad shots which enabled UT to tie the game.

Officiating was not too good...game may have been too fast for them.

Curtis missed two point blank layups, then got hacked...and still didn't get call.

The Florida transfer Huertas will be a nice player for AK.

Tyler Smith had a big game for UT.

Lofton still has yet to find his shot...his game slipped at the Pan Am Games Tryouts and he has been in a rut ever since.

Ole Miss will definitely be back, no one on here seemed to believe me and no one really gave Ole Miss a chance. They played poorly to start the second half but a lot of that is nerves. They are a very young team. Kenny Williams and Dewayne Curtice are seniors but a majority of the contributors are freshman like Trevor Gaskins and Chris Warren. Huertas also is capable of playing much better than he did tonight. Ole Miss won't go away and will definitely have a chance of winning the SEC tourney on a neutral court. They have one easier game Saturday against LSU before a brutal stretch in their schedule as they host Florida, then go to MS State. get auburn on the road, then come back home to play Vandy.

Andy K is a great coach. Why in the world did UC let him go!

UC let Kennedy go because of his loyality to Huggins, on Senior day he took the mike and told the crowd and coach Huggins how much they appreciated all he had done for him and the administration at UC wanted him to speak out against Huggins instead of supporting him.

Would have loved to see AK on the winning side of the scoreboard in this one...

It's a lot more complicated than that, but it was directly tied to him not backing down on his loyalty to Huggs...

I certainly have given Ole Miss more than just a chance, I have been saying all along (even last season) that now they have A.K. at the helm and the Rebels will be a team to be rekoned with year in and year out. The man can coach......period.

UT did look to have a lot of speed in this game though I was impressed with their cutting and ball movement, they were always moving and thats a sign of a great offense. They got a lot of back door cuts for layups.

What a great game! Kennedy is a friggin good coach.

No doubt about that one...

I love the UT hate on this board. I didn't see the last 12 minutes, but before that there were several bad calls against UT as well as Ole Miss.

The most obvious was the one where one the Miss player hurt himself "blocking" a UT layup. The announcer went nuts about how great the block was, but when the replay was shown even he had to admit it was not even close to a block, and should've been a foul.

Did any one watch this game? What did you think about the officiating?

I wasn't going for either team but I thought the officials were very, very, very not good. They hacked each other all night, blocked shots when the defender never touched the ball. Those guys were bad. Anyone agree or disagree?

I didn't get to watch much of it so I can't comment on the officiating. However, you did have three of the so called best officials in the country working this one: Ted Valentine, Karl Hess, and Pat Adams.

I really did not care who won, but the no calls on the rather obvious UT fouls under the basket with the game tied would make a Vol fan embarrassed. The foul that was eventually called should have been a shooting foul.

Both of these teams will cause UK all kinds of problems.:scared:
