nees1212 Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 SEATTLE -- Seattle Seahawks kicker Josh Brown says he'll wear heated warm-up pants in the freezing weather at Saturday's playoff game in Green Bay. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs07/news/story?id=3187946
Original Rookie Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Makes sense to me, especially to keep his KICKING leg warm.
bigblueinsanity Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs07/news/story?id=3187946 Thats funny right there.
threetimelover Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 How is that any different from a pitcher wearing a jacket to round the bases?
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I don't see anything wrong with it, ALTHOUGH when you hear anything about kickers, you can't help but think of this guy:
MsKitty Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 How is that any different from a pitcher wearing a jacket to round the bases? That's what I was thinking. :thumb:
stickymitts Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 How is that any different from a pitcher wearing a jacket to round the bases? It's the heated part. Pants are supposed to keep you legs warm, we get that. The same as a jacket keeps a pitcher's arm warm. But, a HEATED pair of pants...that's laughable...
threetimelover Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Just playing devil's advocate here--if MLB pitchers had to pitch in January, I guarantee you that someone would invent a heated jacket sleeve. But if I were Mr. Brown I would keep a few details to myself.

mcpapa Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I seem to remember Joe Namath taking a lot of "heat" for wearing pantyhose...
Hangman Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 It just had to be a Seahawk that did this.
Wireman Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 The funny part is that the lineman will have on short sleeves.

BoondockSaint Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I don't blame him at all, I would do the same thing if I was a kicker. Why not take advantage of it if it was available?
