What does Western Hills need to do to improve in 2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

First and for most they need to make sure they keep there head coach. I am not saying he is leaving, all I am saying is that they change coaches like I change shoes.

 

Coach Miller is doing what it takes to build a program. He needs to increase his roster, beat the hallways and get more guys out. This team was real young last season. So as players mature and they continue to get comfortable with the offense, they will get better.

 

Focus during the offseason should be getting quicker. They have strength.

 

I look for Hills to make the playoffs next season.

Hill's qb was a big kid with a huge arm. They should have a future.

They need someone new to call the plays on offense.

1. Keep Coach Miller. He hasn't had time to build the program the way he wants to yet. Just give him time. As Coach Buckett said, Hills has a lot of young players right now and they will only get better with time.

 

2. Get Dylan Curry to keep improving. I remember there was a rumor after his freshman year that he could transfer to County and replace Ammons, but it never panned out. Curry is a heckuva kid and a great athlete. His size when I saw him play was unreal and his talent is immense. I expect good things to come from him in the next two years.

It would have been interesting to see if Curry could have ever beat out Thompson for the spot at FC or what Curry could have done with a good supporting cast. I think Curry is very talented but don't know what will happen with him at Hills, They struggle on the line and he does not get much time to throw.

I agree Coach Miller staying will be key to their sucess. He is an excellent coaching doing things the right way. Everyone need to stay of his case and let him do his job. If so WH will be very sucessful the next several years.
