December 31, 200718 yr Anyone have a solid draft position yet for the Bengals? Based on the past history of Marvin's picks, it won't matter. Person will either be a troublemaker and either cut or suspended or have the unfortunate incident of being hurt.
December 31, 200718 yr Author Anyone have a solid draft position yet for the Bengals? Somewhere between 9 and 16...
December 31, 200718 yr Sounds like it's 10... with Laurenitis saying he is staying.. I think we go to USC for one of two kids.. Rivers or Ellis.
December 31, 200718 yr Awfully hard to predict much in the NFL with its parity (or weakness, some may say) and teams going from worst to first in divisions every year. This schedule may end up being much easier or hard than it looks now.
December 31, 200718 yr Home: Baltimore W Cleveland L Pittsburgh L Jacksonville L Tennessee L Philadelphia W Washington W Kansas City W Away: Baltimore W Cleveland L Pittsburgh L Houston W Indianapolis L Dallas L NY Giants L NY Jets W 7-9 again.:irked:
December 31, 200718 yr A lot can happen... I will try to remain optimistic... Maybe they will do some positive things in free agency...

December 31, 200718 yr Here's the deal with the Bengals schedule, as the NFL rotation works this was suppossed to be a very good year. Next year, not so much. THIS YEAR the schedule gave them the NFC West (San Fran., Arizona, Seattle, and the Rams.) THIS YEAR also gave them the AFC EAST (New England, the Jets, Miami, and the Bills.) Looks like A LOT of bad teams there, and the team went 7-9. I mean you've got SF, Arizona, the Rams, the Jets, and Miami on your schedule and you still can't break .500? That's not good. Next year they get the NFC East, and the AFC South. Have fun.
December 31, 200718 yr Here's more to clarify my point. If you aren't a playoff qualifying team, it's possible to play 12 playoff teams in the season. This year, the Bengals only played five. Ouch. Next year, they will play eight teams that made this year's playoffs, plus the Browns twice. I can't see how it gets any better. With the schedule, this should have been the Bengals year to get back to the playoffs. They failed, next year won't be any better.
January 1, 200818 yr U people are giving the Browns way too much credit. They will fall back to thier old ways next year. This year was thier chance to make playoffs and didn't get it done.
January 1, 200818 yr If it's any consolation, the Steelers schedule is worse. Yes and no. Granted they trade Kansas City and the Jets for New England and San Diego. No fun there. But, they do get the Bengals twice. :thumb:
