Any updates on the early games today?

DeSales handled Lafayette in the 1st game of the day, a team out of TN beat Clay County easily in the 2nd game of the day and Franklin County defeated Christian County 62-47 in the 3rd game of the day. No close games as of yet!

WKYT Channel 27 Lexington at 6pm reported the following:

White County (TN) defeated Clay County

From what I heard from someone at the tournament...he said Simon Kenton lost to Barren County by a score of 59-57.

Lexington Herald reported Franklin County's win over Christian Co. as "surprisingly easy". They got the victory with their most athletic and leading scorer getting minimal minutes. He did not play the first half due to disciplinary reasons (missed practice), and never got on track second half as he got very few minutes.

 

Had to be a fluke that they beat Christian Co.

Only one loss so far this season for Franklin County - by a bucket or so to a decent Meade County squad.

If Barren Co would have started pressing earlier in the game (instead of in the fourth quarter) they could have pulled off the win.

Maybe you were being sarcastic and I didn't get it, but while Christian County had lost to solid opponents, their record is only 2-7. Personally, I don't think Franklin County beating them was a fluke.
