Knocked Up and then Super Bad

Featured Replies

I decided on Sunday to rent a few movies and not watch football all day long. I threw in Knocked up starring Seth Rogan and laughed pretty much the entire flick. The girl from Grey's Anatomy is pretty hot in this as well.

I followed it up with Super Bad which was just awful. I will never get that 90 minutes back I know but what were they thinking with that movie?

SuperBad was co-written by Seth Rogan. I went in with VERY low expectations since the movie was really hyped a great deal and I didn't think the trailers were that great.

I thought the film was pretty darn good, there were parts that could have been trimmed down or cut out. But overall it was good. Seth is currently filming in Kevin Smith's new movie which he will star in and I can't wait to see how that works out.

Super Bad wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be although I think I'll take on the name of McLovin:) Knocked up was the hardest I have ever laughed for a whole movie at the movies.

It's all in what a person views as funny really. Superbad could be AWESOME to some (like me) & then terrible to others. It's all in a person's taste in movies.

I still want to see Superbad, I think I would find it funny. Knocked Up was pretty good.

I just didnt like SuperBad because I thought it dragged on too long and the whole cop scenario was stupid. A complete knockoff of Super Troopers and I kept saying to myself, let the kid off at the party and get lost. The fact that they kept McLovin in the backseat the whole movie really ticked me off. I like the Fat kid, he is funny and the dialogue was humourous at times. The Plot was stupid but most movies like that have no real plot.

Just a waste of $4 in my opinion. Knocked up was much funnier and clever and will hit home if your a married guy. Or possibly a guy that doesnt seem to want to grow up. hahaha

I think you just have to have a certain kind of sense of humor to get Superbad, I thought it was top 3 of funniest movies I've ever seen.

I, too, watch Superbad this weekend. But not on Sunday -- I would never give up football for movies. Must be a Bengals fan that did that. Just kidding! Anyway, the movie wasn't very good. I kept watching waiting for the funny parts. There were a few in the beginning, but I agree it just dragged on and on and on........

Now, Knocked Up is absolutely hilarious!

I loved both of those movies. Man was Super Bad funny...

I loved knocked up, I've yet to see Super Bad but I hear good things.

I loved both. I am also going to watch the new "Walk Hard" movie.

I don't even get how anyone could think it's a knockoff of super troopers, I dunno that's just me though!
